Have you ever been truly afraid of being alone? Elliott is. That is until some unexpected guests shatter his isolation and plunge him back into the world. The family ties that defy time, tragedy and lots of cooking have never been more hilarious. In the tradition of last season’s acclaimed ¾ of a Mass for St. Vivian comes another unforgettable story created by an exciting new voice.

"Ambitious and thought provoking." – San Francisco Chronicle
This luminous tale explores the dreams of opportunity that have sent people westward for generations. Using the far-flung path of one family as his frame, Clarvoe opens in turn-of-the-century Croatia, and then gracefully slips back and forth between 1940s Wyoming and 1980s Japan. A compelling look at how the desire between parents and children to hold each other close dramatically collides with the need to let go.

Michael Tolaydo, a critically-acclaimed local favorite will recreate the role he took over from Alec McCowen, three-time Tony nominee, including Best Actor for his brilliant turn in this one-man play. Tolaydo was selected over 200 other actors to take over the role in 1979 and after four months of preparation in the US - learning the lines -- he went to London to rehearse with McCowen. Michael toured the production for 18 months performing in Africa, Germany, Bermuda, Hawaii, and throughout the mainland United States. One review of his tour-de-force one-man performance stated, "Regardless of one's personal predilections or feelings about the gospels or the Bible itself, St. Mark's Gospel is an experience that should not be missed." Performances will run from June 12 - July 6, on Thursdays through Saturdays at 8:00 pm, and Sundays at 5:00 pm (no performance on July 4th).
